All About Us
We are a non-profit rockhound club. Our purpose is to teach
lapidary skills, promote the rockhound hobby and Most of all HAVE FUN. We have a Monday evening workshop where we teach cutting and polishing stones.
We have classes in silversmithing, wire wrapping,
chain making, bead stringing, flint knapping, sand art and others.
Other activities include field trips and our annual gem and mineral show the
second weekend in April.
Our workshop is located on hwy 277 south about 4.7 miles west of 83-84 bypass
(winters freeway). It is a yellow metal building on south side of hwy.
There is no sign. Just head toward San Angelo on 277 and you can't miss
us.
